Holiday Shipping FAQ
When you place an order we typically assign a tracking number within 48 hours. When a tracking number is assigned USPS automatically triggers a shipping notification via email to you. When this happens and you go to track it, it will show IN TRANSIT. This means that your order is being fulfilled by us. This does not mean that it has been dropped off to USPS. When USPS receives your package they will do an intake scan. When this happens your tracking number typically updates within 24 hours. When this happens it shows a delivery date.
In short, we want you to know that when you get the first email stating it's shipped it is most likely NOT shipped. It is has been assigned a tracking number and is "In Transit" status meaning we are packing your order. There may be delays between this status and when it is actually shipped based on what you ordered. If your item is on back order, is a pre order item, etc! During the holidays please expect a delay in shipping times however be assured that if you order by the cutoff date that your order will be shipped out in time. Like everyone else in the country we are experiencing shortages from our suppliers which has also caused delayed shipping times.
